4^th Annual Flying Tigers Car Show and BBQ Competition

The SOWELA Flying Tigers Car Show and BBQ Competition is a fundraiser for the SOWELA Foundation to help provide Southwest Louisiana students with scholarship opportunities and enhancements at SOWELA Technical Community College. Whether you are a car show participant, attendee, or barbeque competitor, you play an important part in helping provide students with the opportunity to reach their educational and career goals.

If you’re attending the show

The show will be held at SOWELA Technical Community College on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The event runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Admission to the car show is free. BBQ tasting tickets are $5 per person.

Directions

The car show is at SOWELA Technical Community College in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Take the Legion Street exit off Interstate 210 and head east on Senator J. Bennett Johnston Avenue.

If you’re showcasing a vehicle at the show

All show vehicles should arrive at 8 a.m. the day of the event. For public safety reasons, we must close the car show vehicle gate at 8:45 a.m.
